Welcome!

The Branch for Refugee Youth in the Treasure Valley (BRYT) is a free-of-charge service for refugee and immigrant youth; providing individuals tools, resources, and activities to ease the integration process into the United States. The program includes a unique cultural exchange among its attendees, with incorporating education on how to navigate through U.S. cultural “norms.”

You're Invited!

BRYT is open to any refugee or immigrant youth ranging from 12-20 years of age. It's free of charge under Medicaid and works with each individual regarding transportation. However, if you or someone you know are interested in the program but feel that you/they are unable to attend due to transportation, Medicaid issues, or not being within the age bracket, please reach out to the program director regardless. We want to ensure that this club is as accommodating as possible so all who are interested may join.

engage.

The Details...

Each meeting takes place at the Progressive Behavior Systems office (2995 N Cole Rd Ste 230 Boise, ID 83704), unless otherwise specified. Regular meeting times are 3:45pm-5:30pm (approx.) Tuesdays and Thursdays, and there will be snacks and drinks provided. With continual and regular attendance, BRYT members will receive prizes such as gift cards to local food joints and/or coffee shops.

Each BRYT meeting consists of social activities, games, crafts, art lessons, etc., all while learning about other cultures and how to steer through U.S. culture in a fun and interactive way. We also offer many ways of incorporating coping mechanisms in everyday life in a time that can be very stressful.

learn.

Our Goal

BRYT is dedicated to reaching individuals who are interested in engaging with other cultures and fellow peers and are interested with finding their own ways of appropriately coping with the many stressful situations life can throw at you. If you decide to connect with BRYT, you will be able to openly express yourself without judgment and gain a new understanding of how others think and feel. BRYT is a space that allows for openness, acceptance, and growth as a unit.
